Asia Water Council (AWC) Knowledge Base and Dissemination Committee

In its capacity as Vice-Chair of the Asia Water Council's Knowledge Base and Dissemination Committee, GIWEH prepared and circulated COVID-19 prevention and response guidelines as an emergency action plan for water-sector institutions across the Asia-Pacific region.

The guidance set out practical measures for utilities and field teams to maintain safe water and sanitation services through the pandemic, and reflected GIWEH's standing mandate to gather and share good practice within the Council's network.
