Mr. Mbaruku A. Vyakweli

Mr Mbaruku A. Vyakweli is a Board Member of the World Water Council and a member of the International Water Association, and holds a Master of Arts in International Relations from the University of Bombay, a Master of Arts in Mass Communication from the University of Nairobi, and a Bachelor of Arts from Panjab University.

He is in charge of Corporate Affairs and International Relations at Nairobi City Water and Sewerage Company in Kenya, Vice President of the African Water Association (AfWA-STC), and a member of UN-Habitat's Global Water Operators' Partnerships Alliance (GWOPA) International Steering Committee for the Africa region. He serves as GIWEH's Director for Africa, coordinating the institute's work across the continent.
