Benedetta Gambatesa

Benedetta Gambatesa is a Water, Land and Ecosystems Researcher at GIWEH. She holds a master's degree in Law from Italy, with a thesis on the international protection of the human right to freshwater in armed conflicts, and is pursuing a Master in International Law at the Graduate Institute of Geneva, focusing on climate change, International Environmental Law and Global Health Law.

She has interned with NGOs specialising in health, food and climate change, and brings a strong interest in water from both legal and environmental perspectives.
