Mohamed Alaoui

Senior Advisor

Dr Mohamed Alaoui is a Senior Advisor on GIWEH's Advisory Board and a specialist in water resources development, irrigation, environment and rural development, with around 25 years of experience, including 22 years at the Moroccan ministry responsible for water.

He holds a PhD in Applied Sciences in integrated water resources management, hydrology, GIS and remote sensing from Mohammed V University and the Mohammadia School of Engineers in Rabat, a postgraduate diploma in hydraulic engineering from UNESCO-IHE Delft, and an agricultural engineering degree from the Hassan II Agronomic and Veterinary Institute in Rabat. He serves on the boards of the Moroccan association ANAFIDE and the Moroccan Dams Committee.
