1st African Water Operators Forum

Nairobi, 24 to 26 November 2026

The 1st African Water Operators Forum brings the continent's water utilities, regulators, ministries and development partners together around Water Operators' Partnerships, the peer-to-peer model through which utilities strengthen one another.

The Forum is co-convened by GIWEH, the Nairobi City Water and Sewerage Company and the Kenya Water Sector Trust Fund, under the patronage of the Office of the Prime Cabinet Secretary. It is expected to gather around 500 delegates and more than 100 exhibitors at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre.

Why it matters

The Forum works directly against SDG 6 on water and sanitation, SDG 11 on sustainable cities, SDG 13 on climate action and SDG 17 on partnerships. Full programme, registration and exhibition details are available at awof2026.org.
