Field mission to the Togean Islands, Indonesia

GIWEH spent ten days in Tojo Una-Una regency in the Togean Islands, assessing conditions on the ground for a proposed ecological centre.

Between 25 April and 5 May 2025, GIWEH carried out a field mission to Tojo Una-Una regency in the Togean Islands, Central Sulawesi, Indonesia.

The mission assessed local conditions, infrastructure and community needs to inform a proposed ecological and research centre for the islands.
