GIWEH took part in COP29 in Baku, Azerbaijan, in November 2024, working on the place of water in climate negotiations.

GIWEH attended the 29th Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change in Baku, Azerbaijan, in November 2024.

The institute's contribution focused on the standing of water within climate negotiations, and on the links between water, climate and conflict.
