In January 2025 GIWEH made its first visit to Indonesia, opening the engagement that would lead to field work in the Togean Islands.

GIWEH made its first mission to Indonesia in January 2025, meeting institutions and partners to explore where the institute could contribute.

The visit opened an engagement that continued with field work in the Togean Islands three months later.
