GIWEH Participation in Korea International Water Week (KIWW) - Water Leader's Round Table
Dr Nidal Salim joined the Water Leaders' Round Table at Korea International Water Week, opened by the Republic of Korea's Minister of Environment.
GIWEH participated in the Water Leaders' Round Table at Korea International Water Week (KIWW). The session was opened by Minister Wha-Jin Han of the Ministry of Environment of the Republic of Korea, who introduced GIWEH Director-General Dr Nidal Salim among the invited water leaders.
The round table convened senior figures from government, multilateral institutions and the water industry to discuss shared priorities: water security, cooperation across borders, and the financing of resilient infrastructure. Dr Salim contributed GIWEH's perspective on linking diplomacy with delivery for water-stressed regions.
The engagement strengthened GIWEH's ties with Korea's water community and with the Asia Water Council, where the Institute serves on the Knowledge Base and Dissemination Committee.
