GIWEH signs Memorandum of Understanding with Asia Water Council Board and other Members

In a bid to strengthen ties and mutual cooperation within the Asia Water Council (AWC), GIWEH last month signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Board and all other Members of the AWC. The MoU aims to strengthen efforts to share information and technology in order to promote the water industry and resolve water problems in Asia.

Signatories include our own Director General of GIWEH, Dr. Nidal Salim, Dr. Hak-Soo Lee (President of AWC), Dr. Doo-Soo Park (Vice-President of K-Water), Director of the China Institute of Water Resources and Hydropower Research (IWHR) Mr. Zhang Cheng, Mr. Reynaldo Velasco of the Philippines' Metropolitan Waterworks and Sewerage System (MWSS), and Dr. Kwan-Sue Jung, professor of CNU.

We look forward to further collaboration in working towards our shared goal of combating climate change and attaining water security in Asia.
