Today, on the World Water Day 2018, GIWEH wishes to take the opportunity to reaffirm its strong engagement in finding long-term sustainable solutions to water challenges all over the world.
At GIWEH, we believe that sustainable access to safe water is a basic human right. And we are highly committed in providing this access to all, and especially to the most vulnerable ones.
Today, 1 in 9 people lacks access to safe water . Ensuring water safety and security is the first step towards a sustainable development that includes improved education and health, gender equality and work opportunities. This is why we develop holistic water-related projects and pursue actions in both urban areas and remote rural areas, engaging in integrative partnerships with actors at all levels.
