Dr. Khalid Qahman

Dr Khalid Qahman is a member of GIWEH's Advisory Board, with more than eighteen years of experience as an infrastructure planner, project manager and senior advisor on water resources and civil and environmental management projects.

Based in Gaza, Palestine, he holds a BSc in Civil Engineering from Birzeit University, an MSc in Hydrological Engineering from IHE-Delft in the Netherlands, and a PhD in Civil Engineering from the Mohammadia School of Engineers, Mohammed V University, in Rabat, Morocco. He teaches water and environment at Master's level at Al-Quds, Al-Azhar and the Islamic University of Gaza, and works as a senior consultant in engineering and environmental management.
